Kelly was born and raised in South Carolina. After graduating from Clemson University, Kelly went on to earn a master's degree in broadcast journalism at the University of Miami. From the time she was a child, Kelly had a dream of working for television channels because she found the tasks related to television attractive and glamorous. Right after finishing her education, she was hired by ACC Digital Network as a production assistant and an intern. When her training period was done, she transferred on to Fox Sports Florida and later started working as a reporter for Fox Sports Sun. She persevered until she was promoted to a post at MLB Network, the largest sports news channel in America. She is currently a cohost of "The Rundown" which is a well-loved TV show on the network. She has a huge audience and keeps on top of her social media accounts.
