Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
She was initially inspired by shadows cast on grass. After a few weeks she came up with a technique which did not make the subject onto canvas in a flat image. The selected subject is transformed into an image of itself. This is particularly true with living objects or objects that die, such as fruit or even humans. Alexa's style of painting is ephemeral and only the photographs of her work survive. Techniques of photography and painting are closely coordinated and result in a flat, two-dimensional space which achieves trompe-l'oeil. The only areas of the photo, like the hair or eyes, reveal the three-dimensional dimension. Meade occasionally integrates painted models into the environment around them. It allows them to be part of the world she has created. Thereby repealing the boundaries between photography, painting performances and installations.
