LeBron Raymone James Sr. Born on 30 December 1984 - is an professional American basketball player. King James has been widely considered to be among the most notable basketball players. Michael Jordan is usually the subject of debates about which is the most outstanding player. James has taken home four NBA championships four NBA MVP awards four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James has scored more points in the playoffs. He also has the second highest number of career points, and is seventh in career assists. James is the NBA All-Star has made the All-NBA Team 18 times, a record. James has also been selected for The NBA All-Defensive First Team 5 times. As a total, James has been a part of more than 10 NBA Finals, the third-most of all time. It was eight in a row between 2011-2018. James was picked as a part of the NBA75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022, he became only the third NBA player to ever score at least 10,000 points in a career. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron Ohio, where he was raised. Media across the country portrayed James as a future NBA superstar. In 2003 it was the year that his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers took him first in the NBA draft, as a pre-pro. He was voted as the NBA player of the year for 2004. Soon he became one of the premier players in the NBA as he won the NBA MVP Award twice in as of 2009 and in 2010. James signed a free-agent contract following his failure to secure championships for Cleveland. He made the decision to leave Cleveland for Miami Heat, announced on the television show The Decision, is considered one of the controversial free-agent actions in sports history.
