Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss has been a country singer for over 30 years. Her birthplace was in Decatur, Illinois on the 23rd July 1971. LeAnn Kymes and Krauss, were amongst the earliest Grammy Award-winners. Alison Maria Krauss was born in July of 1971. Alison is a bluegrass and country singer. She was a teenager when she made her debut in the music scene winning local competitions from the age of 10 of age and recording her first album at the age of 14 years old. In 1985, she joined Rounder Records and in 1987 she released her first solo album. After that, she was asked to join Alison Krauss Union Station, her current band that she sings with. Her first album as a collective with this group came out in 1989.
